    • Cushions
Lincoln - a contemporary cushion pattern with an offset Cathedral Window panel.
I have used denim as a backdrop for these striking jewel colours from Sally Kelly's Solstice collection.

Cushions designed to promote Alice Caroline's exclusive Liberty collection.
Exhibited in 2018 at Festival of Quilts.
Selection of designs made for Morris Textiles that were exhibited at Quiltcon 2020.

Morris Textiles is based in Austin, Texas and specialises in mixing classic, timeless designs such as Liberty of London and William Morris with modern designs from contemporary British designers.
Oakshott Cottons from their Sorbet collection framing classic and seasonal Liberty prints.
This design was featured on the Liberty London website as part of their #libertycraftclub feature in June 2020.
Cathedral Window Cushion - I guest designed this exclusive pattern for Alice Caroline for Christmas 2018.

Patterns and kits are available on their website.
Klimt Window - this won first prize in the Miniature Quilt category at the Uttoxeter Quilt Show in 2018.
This machine pieced cathedral window quilt allows the depth of colour used by Gustav Klimt to shine through.
Machine and hand quilting features. Tana lawn, cotton and metallic threads.
Finished size is 12" square.

Alice Caroline's exclusive mustard and grey collection combined with Oakshott's and Karen Lewis Wayside collections in this contemporary Drunkards Path quilt.

Donated to the Quilt SOS 2019
Anna's Cotswold Window Garden - an attic window style quilted wall hanging.
Butterfly Notre-Dame - quilt and cushion designed to showcase exclusive Butterfly Garden collection.

Love Letters Home Quilt - Liberty Tana Lawn and Wiltshire Lasenby quilting cottons were used to make this quilt from Jenni Smith's Love Letters Home pattern.

Donated to Alice Caroline's SOS Quilt Project 2020.
Breaking through the Storm exhibited at the Festival of Quilts 2017 - This is a Cathedral Window quilt with intricately inserted layers of smaller, folded patchwork quilted blocks to add depth, colour and intensity – and a contemporary twist to the beautiful Cathedral Window block technique. Fine Liberty cotton tana lawn allows extensive layering so every block is an act of discovery.

This is an important quilt to me, partly because it was the first one I was brave enough to enter into competition but also because the fluidity and depth of this post-storm seascape feels like a representation of how I also managed to break through the storm of self-doubt and anxiety around whether I still had the ability to be creative inside me. I still have moments of huge self-doubt and this quilt always helps to remind me what I’m capable of.

Stars from Stripes Quilt - my first quilt for Alice Caroline's Quilt SOS project was exhibited at Liberty London in 2016 before being donated to a children's orphanage in Romania.

I created 19 different stars from the same stripe Liberty fabric. This technique was inspired by a workshop with Vivien Finch.

Tumbling Blocks Hexagon Quilt - made for Alice Caroline Quilt SOS Project in 2016 using Liberty tana lawn tumbling blocks in jewel colours paired with deep denim blues.
Newstead Quilt - Cathedral Window quilt inspired by my daughter's love of peacocks and visits to Newstead Abbey.
Liberty classic prints Hera and Caesar are featured with a centre treasured piece of fabric from Granny's fabric collection.
Up and Away Quilt - donated to Alice Caroline's Quilt SOS project in 2019.

Design based on Sarah Ashford's Up and Away pattern.

I like to work with all kinds of fabrics but am particularly drawn to the detail and quality of Liberty fabrics. I love to look at a fabric design and find new ways to fussy-cut it, seeing fresh shapes and patterns that are unique and beautiful.
Detail of EPP Lucy Boston Block - using Liberty Forbidden Fruits, a tropical take on the classic Strawberry thief design.
Ianthe Stars - the Ianthe design was created by French Art Nouveau designer R. Beauclair in approximately 1900 and this design still fascinates me today.
I am creating an EPP patchwork, fussycutting as many different star patterns from this Liberty print.

Trafalgar - this design is inspired by Trafalgar Square, with the central block surrounded by a rich tapestry of different designs but held together by the recurring column motif. With some of the country’s finest galleries on or nearby Trafalgar Square, the invitation is for you too to find your favourite fabric print and display it in the frame of this design.
Trafalgar - the Solstice collection deigned by Sally Kelly for Windham Fabrics is showcased in my new Trafalgar EPP pattern.

Piccadilly - this play on the traditional tumbling block and hexagon design is so rich in tessellated geometric shapes that the eye can find so many different ways to see it. I named it Piccadilly as it seemed to mirror the multiple routes out of the busy central hub of a teeming Piccadilly Circus. Like Piccadilly, it is busy and exciting but firmly rooted in a solid structure.
