Suzanne Campion, one of our most favourite of customers has made this Liberty Butterfly Notre-Dame Quilt using lots of the exclusive fabrics from my recent collection. It showcases the fabric in the collection so beautifully." Alice Caroline January 2021Alice Caroline Fabrics | Click here to read Alice's blog.
Suzanne Campion is a wonderful quilter and all of her projects are beautifully made. She has a real finesse with a needle and thread, and I love following her on Instagram because her projects always make me smile – especially her clever fussy-cut English Paper Pieced delights. She has a patience I don’t, and finishes her projects – a vague concept for me unless there is a book deadline involved! The SOS quilt in her film is no exception, and Suzanne has contributed a number of quilts in recent years to orphaned children in Eastern Europe, using her favourite Liberty prints. I’m so happy Suzanne shared her story, despite being pretty scared and waking up with a nail in her car tyre which could have been a great excuse to get out of it! Is it obvious we have a shared love of Liberty!!!" Jenni Smith November 2019Jenni Smith's Just One Quilt Film | Click here to view the video
Beautiful Patchwork & Fussy Cutting – what more could you ask for? Today, I’d like to showcase the work of one of our lovely customers with you. Suzanne Campion has been one of our loyal customers for years now and I always love everything she makes. Last year, she made a gorgeous Christmas Cathedral Window cushion and guest designed the pattern for the Alice Caroline library. I loved this pattern so much that Suzanne has made two new beautiful colour ways of this, surprisingly easy to make, cushion. It looks like a really tricky pattern but that’s deceptive."
